Casting

Casting

Hungary's central European location cultivates a diverse talent pool, enabling productions to find the perfect faces across various ethnicities and archetypes.

The casting options offer the highest ethnic diversity in the CEE region, including a differing representation of Asian, South American, Middle Eastern, and African backgrounds, besides a small expat community of native English speakers.

A thriving ecosystem of talent agencies ensures authentic portrayals and a vast talent pool. We can also easily coordinate a Europe-wide casting for speaking roles within just a few days through our trusted network.

Budget and Tax Rebate

Budget and Tax Rebate

Filmmaking in Hungary delivers exceptional value in wages, hotel prices, and production service fees. In addition, foreign productions, excluding advertising, are eligible for a 30% tax rebate on local spending.

An additional allowance of 25% of the local Hungarian spend can be spent on foreign expenses by the Hungarian Production company. This spending will also qualify for a 30% rebate as well. That makes a total of 37.5% of the Hungarian spend.

This financial incentive, combined with Hungary's cost-effective ecosystem, empowers global filmmakers to maximize their budgets and achieve maximum impact.

Sustainability & Inclusivity

We believe diverse teams create better content and we actively promote gender equality in our crews, support opportunities for underrepresented groups in the industry, and maintain an inclusive workplace that celebrates different perspectives.

We offset the carbon footprint of every production and provide detailed sustainability reporting for projects. By prioritizing local suppliers and implementing resource-efficient solutions, we minimize transportation impacts and reduce waste.

Our ongoing investments in renewable energy and reforestation complement our on-set practices, including selective waste management, plastic reduction, and maximized use of electric generators. These comprehensive efforts help minimize your project's environmental impact.
